Professional Indemnity Insurance:
Ubuntu, has in place professional indemnity insurance which complies with the requirements of the laws of the United Arab Emirates. This insurance coverage is for claims brought against Ubuntu wherever arising and is not therefore subject to territorial restriction.
Financial services:
We are not authorized by the authorities in the United Arab Emirates. However, we can carry on financial services or insurance activity, which is broadly the advising on, selling and administration of related contracts. This part of our business, including arrangements for complaints or redress if something goes wrong, is regulated by the United Arab Emirates authorities.
If we provide a service which includes the carrying on of any financial services or insurance activity, we will do so as ancillary financial services or insurance intermediary.
